Preparing a pipeline of health workers for Tanzania’s digital future require strong capacity-building and a skilled workforce. It is critical to plan for this future digital state in the form of trainings and digital tools. In the Tanzanian health sector, the challenge of using data for decision-making processes is profound notwithstanding the fact that a wealthy of data is produced on routine basis and through periodic surveys. Limited skills to analyze and interpret data in health care delivery are some of the major challenges facing data use for decision making in delivery of health services. The Capacity Building Consortium (CBC) composed of 5 institutions was formed and TTCIH as a secretariat of the consortium. The institutions include Ifakara Health Institute, Mzumbe University, Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences and the University of Dodoma, and the Government of Tanzania. The Capacity Building Consortium (CBC) to date.  Conducted a situation analysis of data use and data systems aspects in health related curricula offered in the Tanzanian health training institutions to determine the extent at which data use and data systems aspects are reflected in their curricula. Supported review of High diploma in Clinical Medicine to incorporate data use aspects
